Helen S. Keel, age 95, Treasure Lake, DuBois, Pa. died Friday, July 1, 2016 at Christ the King Manor.
Born December 5, 1920 in Wilmington, N.C., she was the daughter of the late A.H. and Bessie (Williams) Schultz.
On August 11, 1957, she married Thomas H. Keel. He preceded her in death on October 27, 1980.
She was a self-employed beautician until 2008.
Helen was a faithful member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Horseheads, NY. She loved to travel. She relocated to DuBois, Pa. to be with the Deibler family in 2013.
Helen is survived by four step-children: Mickey Moore of Yorktown, VA; Shirley Kingsley of Elmira, NY; T. Allen Keel of San Antonio, TX; and Kerry Keel of Daleville, AL, several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her step-son, Daniel Keel.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 12 P.M. until the time of service from the Goble Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday afternoon at 1 P.M. from the funeral home with Brian Deibler officiating.
Burial will be in Luthersburg Union Cemetery.
