WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa (EYT) – Dubois-based State Police say a hit and run crash occurred on February 3 around 7:06 a.m. on State Route 1011 in Washington Township, Jefferson County.
According to police an unidentified vehicle was traveling south on S.R. 1011 (Beechton Road) when they driver lost control while negotiating a left hand curve, at the intersection with Bushley Road.
The vehicle traveled off the roadway and struck a guide wire for a utility pole, causing the utility pole to break.
The driver fled the scene.
