Homer Enterline

Homer Enterline, Sr., 87, of Punxsutawney, died Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Allegheny General Hospital.

Born February 3, 1934 at Marchand, he was the son of the late Richard and Ruth Lewis Enterline.

On April 12, 1952 he married the former Helen Milliron. She preceded him in death on October 29, 2016.

Prior to his retirement, he was self employed in masonry as a Brick Layer.

His pastimes included hunting, fishing and gardening.

Over the years he enjoyed many trips to Vermont to buy slate, antique shop with his wife, and vacation with his grandkids.

Many of his favorite moments were those shared with his dogs, Milo and Ben.

Those surviving include his sons, Homer Enterline, Jr. and Sam Enterline; his daughters, Kathryn Jane (Tim) Myers, Barbara Blose (Paul Janocha), and Cheryl Fox, all of Punxsutawney; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Randa, Jay, and Joel; as well as his 6 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Richard Jr., Sam, Harold and Bill; and his sisters, Rae, Bonnie and Mary.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Interment will be at Old Ebenezer Cemetery, Jefferson County.
