Ida Belle Krupp

Krupp_Ida-128x150[1]Ida Belle Krupp, 92, of Medina, passed away Friday, December 18, 2015.

She was born February 3, 1923 in Derry, Pennsylvania, to the late John David James and Hattie H. Foust.

As the spouse of a Presbyterian Minister, Ida Belle and her family kept on the move throughout their lifetime, having lived in Shreve, Ohio; Grove City, Indiana and Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.

She will always be remembered as a mother who had a devotion to caring for children, as a Sunday School Teacher and especially her “Angel Unaware” son, Phillip Andrew, a Down Syndrome child.

Ida Belle is survived by Prudence K. (Davis) Aylsworth of Medina and Paulette E. Krupp of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandchildren, Robert (Stacy) Davis of Albuquerque, New Mexico and David Shea Bridge and son-in-law, Dave Bridge of Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania; sister-in-law, Lois Krupp McCredie and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a Presbyterian Minister Reverend George R. Krupp, Jr. (2002); daughter, Priscilla A. Bridge (2013) and son, Phillip Andrew (1986).

A graveside service for Ida Belle will be held at a later date in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania.
