Imogene E. Jones

Imogene E. Jones, 90, of DuBois, passed away Tuesday, June 02, 2015 at Christ the King Manor.

She was born on November 2, 1924 in DuBois the daughter of the late Charles E. and Mildred (Brobst) Heberling. On December 31, 1941 she married William H. “Bill” Jones who passed away August 13, 2001.

Imogene worked at Riverside as a sales clerk. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in DuBois, the Vivian Brown Sunday School Class, the DuBois Nursing Home Auxiliary and was once an active member in the DuBois Girl Scout Council.

She enjoyed being with her family, golfing, playing the organ and gardening.

She is survived by her nine children: James A. Jones of Dallas, TX, William J. Jones (Ilean) of DuBois, Sandra Moser of Downingtown, PA, Dorothy Scalercio of Bellefonte, PA, Jackie (Walter) Shaffer of Butler, PA, Norma Gray of Dallas, TX, Linda (Rick) Meredith of Brockport, PA, Cheryl Jones and her fiancé David Sines of Delray Beach, FL and Nancy (Rick) Ciganik of Glenside, PA; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren and a brother, Harold and his wife Betty Heberling of Houston, TX
.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters: Norma Brown and Doris Poydock and a brother, John Heberling.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc. with Rev. Lance Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.

Friends will be received from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the Mohney-Yargar Funeral Chapel, Inc. An additional hour of viewing will be held at 10:00am until the hour of service on Friday at the funeral home.
