Police say 47-year-old Susan D. Dinger, of Brookville, was traveling on a snow-covered roadway heading westbound on SR 208 and lost control of her 2011 Nissan Maxima.

According to police, the car went into the oncoming lane and hit a utility pole on the left where the car came to a final rest.

Dinger suffered minor injuries; she was using a seat belt.

Knox Ambulance transported her to Clarion Hospital for further treatment due to the pain she was feeling in her left arm, police say.

The car was towed from the scene by Hovis Towing.

Dinger was not cited due to the inclement weather facts, according to police.

Knox Volunteer Fire Department, Windstream, and Hovis Towing assisted at the scene.
