supikSHIPPENVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – A prisoner in the Clarion County Jail is facing new charges after allegedly making threats against fellow inmates, their families, and corrections officers.

According to a criminal complaint, 24-year-old Joseph David Supik, II, currently imprisoned in the Clarion County Jail, faces new charges of terroristic threats and related charges following an incident at the jail on July 9.

Officer Peck Notified by Warden Hornberger of Incidents Involving Supik

The complaint states that Officer Peck was notified by Clarion County Corrections Warden Hornberger that Supik was allegedly causing numerous problems in the jail with staff and other inmates. Corrections Officer Lindberg reported an incident with Supik on her shift – 6:00 p.m. on July 9 to 6:00 a.m. on July 10, 2015.

Supik Allegedly Threatens to Kill Inmates/Correction Officers

Lindberg’s incident report indicated that Supik allegedly kept pushing the call button in his cell and not letting it up. She and Corrections Officer Kennedy went into E Block, and they both “told Supik to lay off the emergency call button.” Supik allegedly became angry and “wanted removed from his cell because everyone was abusing him.” Supik allegedly stated, “When we go to the outdoor yard, I’m going to kill them all.” CO Lindberg asked Supik, “All the inmates that go to the outdoor yard or indoor rec.?” and Supik replied, “Yes, all of them,” the complaint states.

Lindberg’s report indicated that Supik also allegedly threatened bodily harm “to any corrections officers that he can recognize outside the facility.” Supik allegedly stated, “I know a lot of them and what they do and where they live.” Supik mentioned three guards by name, the complaint indicates.

Supik Allegedly Threatens to Kill Inmates’ Families

According to the complaint, while in Block E, Lindberg was called to the cell doors of two inmates. Inmate #1 told Lindberg that Supik “threatened to kill (inmate’s #1’s) wife when he gets out of jail on Monday.”

Inmate #1 said that “Supik said when he gets out, he was going to find the (inmate’s) wife and two kids and kill them.” Supik also told inmate #1 that “he also knows he has three other children and was going to find them and do the same to them,” the complaint states.

Inmate #2 stated that Supik was being loud and yelling. The inmate told Supik to be quiet. Then, Supik “threatened to kill his daughter.” Supik said he “was getting out on Thursday and that he was going to track down (Inmate #2’s) daughter and rape and kill her and her mother,” the complaint indicates.

When inmate #2 “told Supik that is not okay,” Supik said, “(expletive) you and started saying (inmate #2’s) daughter’s name and making sexual sounds.” The inmate’s daughter is a young minor child, the complaint continues.

A third inmate stated that Supik was yelling at people on the block. The inmate attempted to calm Supik down, and Supik allegedly told him that “he stole his little sister’s address, and he was going to find her and rape and kill her,” the complaint indicates.

All three inmates provided written statements, the complaint states.

On August 7, 2015, Officer Peck made contact with Corrections Officer Lindberg and verified her statement over the phone. The alleged incidents occurred during her shift. Lindberg told Officer Peck that she asked Supik, “Are you going to hurt them (meaning the guards), and he replied, “Yep, I’m gonna,” according to the complaint.
