RINGGOLD TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Punxsutawney-based State Police are investigating an incident of Theft by Deception that occurred in Ringgold Township, Jefferson County.
According to police, sometime between March 1 and March 3, a 47-year-old Ringgold woman responded a Pennswoods’ Ad selling two Pomeranian puppies for $300.00.
The victim sent $309.99 via Western Union but never received the puppies, police say.
The investigation is ongoing.
