Jack I. Moyer, 81, of 366 Toby Road, Kersey, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at the Highland View Health Care in Brockway.
He was born March 12, 1934, in Toby, son of the late Merl and Twila “Happy” Bilodeau Moyer. He was a lifelong resident of Toby and attended Kersey schools. He had been employed as a carpenter.
On August 8, 1959, in the St. Boniface Church, he married Harriet J. Caimi, who survives. He is also survived by his children, Craig A. Moyer of Oaklayn, NJ, Vaughn “Brett” Moyer of San Rafael, CA, and Kay J. Moyer and her partner Christina A. Wright of Arlington, VA; and two grandchildren, Jackson B. Wright and Tucker J. Wright. He is also survived by his step-mother, Gertrude Moyer of Toby; three sisters, Joan VanHorn and her husband Emery of Spring Mills, PA, Gertrude Finley and her husband Robert of Boalsburg, PA, and Lois Jordan of Toby; and by a brother, James Moyer and his wife Susan of Elma, NY.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Butterbaugh.
Jack enjoyed baseball, fishing, the outdoors, and woodworking.
There will be no visitation.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service to be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Friday, June 19, 2015, at 11:00 AM.
