Jackie R. Hense (64) passed away at her home in Laguna Hills, CA.
She was born July 3, 1957 in Spokane, WA to Pearl Hense Stokes and Jack Hense.
Jackie married Scott Wiedermann from Orange County, CA.
She graduated from Jeff Tech in Reynoldsville.
She obtained a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas- Arlington and a Master’s degree from the University of Houston.
She was employed as an Instructional Designer at Wells Fargo.
Jackie also worked as a project manager, technical writer, and instructional designer at various companies including: EDS, JP Morgan Chase, and Disneyland Resort.
Jackie was a veteran of the United States Air Force. She served as a Telecommunications Specialist, including a tour in Turkey.
Jackie earned the Air Force Good Conduct Medal and the Air Force Longevity Service Award.
She enjoyed practicing yoga and was interested in yoga philosophy.
She loved all animals and frequently provided a home and care to ones in need.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her son, Owen Wiedermann of Irvine, CA, and a brother, Paul Hense and wife, Marilyn, of Punxsutawney.
A celebration of Jackie’s life was held by friends and family in Laguna Hills, CA.
Interment will be at Circle Hill Cemetery in Punxsutawney.
Local arrangements have been entrusted to the Shumaker Funeral Home.
