Jacob T. McMinn

Jacob T. McMinn, 34, Reynoldsville, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022 at Penn Highlands DuBois surrounded by his family.

Born September 25, 1987, in DuBois, he was the son of Dan and Marla (Silvis) McMinn. They survive.

Jacob was a graduate of the DuBois Area High School and went on to study diesel mechanics at WyoTech in Blairsville.

He was employed by Cactus Wellhead as a field mechanic.

Jacob was a member of the Falls Creek Fire Department, Falls Creek Eagles, Red Knights Motorcycle Club Chapter #38, and co-founder of the Tri-County Gun and Cash Bash.

He was known for being a jack of all trades who enjoyed F.R. Camping and hunting, but most of all working in the garage.

Jacob loved playing with his daughter and nieces and spending time with his beloved dogs, Mocha and Luna.

In addition to his parents, Jacob is survived by his daughter, Kenzley McMinn, Reynoldsville; fiancé, Erica King; grandmother, Edna Silvis, Falls Creek; two siblings, Josh (Mollie) McMinn and Rachel (Craig) Caine, all of DuBois; three nieces, Addison Caine, Callie Caine, and Amelia McMinn, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jacob was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lee Silvis, paternal grandparents, Leroy and Mary McMinn, an aunt, Pat Boboige, an uncle, Tom Boboige, and a cousin, Ron Boboige.

Friends and family will be received Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and Friday, January 14, 2022 from 10-11 a.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium.

Following Friday’s visitation, a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. from the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium with Pastor Amy Godshall-Miller officiating.

Interment will be in Beechwoods Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a contribution be made at First Commonwealth Bank in Erica King’s name for the benefit of Jacob’s daughter, Kenzley.
