James Norbert Boyle, age 95, of Aiken, South Carolina, died peacefully in his sleep on November 7, 2021.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Mary Adelaide Mack.
Born on July 10, 1926, in Dubois, PA. he was the son of the late John Leroy Boyle & Lorena Myers Boyle of DuBois, PA.
James was a veteran of the United States Army having served in World War II as a parachute rigger and medic.
In 1950, he graduated from Villanova University in Philadelphia, PA, with a degree in business finance and married his childhood sweetheart, Mary Adelaide Mack of DuBois, PA.
He was employed by National Biscuit Company (Nabisco) for 35 years and retired in 1985.
James was an avid golfer and a member of the Cedar Creek Mens’ Golf Association and loved spending time with his wife and family.
James is survived by 8 children: Lynn Boyle Willems & husband Steve Willems, Wernersville, PA; Shane Boyle & wife Irene Boyle, Orland Park, IL; Terry Boyle & wife Jean Boyle, Orland Park, IL; Kathy Boyle Shew & husband Gary Shew, Marine City, MI; Cory Boyle Clark and husband Mark Clark, Aiken, SC; Kevin Boyle & wife Dawn Boyle, Waterloo, IA; Bryan Boyle, Lisle, IL; Mary Beth Boyle Hardy & husband Jim Hardy, Litchfield, AZ); 17 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren.
Services will be private.
