James Robert Bochert, 59, of Punxsutawney, PA died on Thursday, November 5, 2015 at home.
He was born November 14, 1955 in Warren, NC, the son of the late Fred Alfred and Mary Virginia (Flippen) Borchet.
He was married to Cynthia (Lewis) Bochert and she survives.
He was a receiver for Penn-Traffic of DuBois, PA.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, Jason Bochert and his wife, Jen of Holly Springs, NC, Jeremy Bochert and his wife, Michele of Downingtown, PA; three step-daughters, Amanda Yandora and her husband Paul of Treasure Lake, Sharon Lunger of Philadelphia, PA, and Brook Weaver of Punxsutawney, PA.
He is also survived by one sister, Lora Flick and her husband, Larry of Hermitage, PA and one brother Fred Bochert of Texas.
Also surviving are 5 step-grndchildren, McKenzie Shick, Taylor Weaver, Taban Weaver, Troy Weaver, and Christian Shick.
Friends will be received at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home in Punxsutawney, PA on Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 4-8.
The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 8:00 PM with Pastor William Foster officiating.
Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
