Janet L. Forsyth, 79, DuBois, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017, at her home.
Born August 19, 1938, in Big Run, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Mildred (Carlson) Rolls.
Janet married Lyle G. Forsyth on July 27, 1957, in Erie, PA. He preceded her in death on March 22, 2016.
She was a devoted housewife, who was Protestant by faith. Janet enjoyed baking, cooking, spending time with family, and being with her beloved puppy, Candi.
Janet is survived by her two sons, Larry G. (Barbara) Forsyth of Sykesville and Jerry D. (Michelle) Forsyth of DuBois; three grandchildren, Jennifer Bennett, Michael Forsyth, and Lori Crawford; seven great-grandchildren; three siblings, Joan (Dave) Rolls of Ringgold, Karen (Blaine) Harvey of Treasure Lake, and Ben (Anna) Rolls of Massillon, Ohio, several nieces and nephews, and her puppy, Candi.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters, Debbie Rolls and Mary Davenport, and a brother, Jack Rolls.
The family will receive condolences on Saturday, December 2nd from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel, Inc. A Service of Remembrance will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral chapel with Rev. David Nagele officiating.
