Jeep Slams into Tree off Route 28, Driver Escapes Injury

CLOVER TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A one-vehicle crash occurred on Monday evening on State Route 28 in Clover Township, Jefferson County.

According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, Kenneth Snyder, 41, of Corsica, was driving a 1998 Jeep Wrangler south on Route 28 when he hit a deer that was standing on the roadway. The Wrangler slid off the road and struck a tree.

Snyder was wearing his seatbelt and was not injured.

The Jeep was towed from the scene.
