JEFFERSON CO., Pa. (EYT) – Several new businesses opened in Jefferson County in 2019 and the county saw few closures.

A “store” offering free clothing and household goods to those in need, located at 531 Mulberry Alley, Punxsutawney.

A cafe and bakery offering fresh baked goods and homemade pizza, located at 246 West Mahoning Street, Punxsutawney.

Katy’s Route 28 Bulk Foods

A bulk foods store offering everything from baking supplies candy candy and frozen items to household items and cleaning supplies.

Blush Beauty Bar

A salon with a wide range of services and products available, located at 208 West Mahoning Street, Punxsutawney.

Business closures in the area included Dushacs Donuts in Punxsutawney and Harvey’s Country Cupboard in Big Run.
