Jefferson County Fair Begins Today with Horse Pull

Jefferson County Fair MidwayBROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – The Jefferson County Fair takes place from July 19 to July 25, which includes horse and tractor pulls, ATV and car events, a professional rodeo, and a full-size car demo derby.

The track at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds will be a busy place throughout the week.

The track schedule includes a horse pull on July 19; an ATV “racing” extravaganza on July 20; and a 4×4 gas and diesel truck and tractor pull on July 21.

On July 22, there will be a semi-truck and super farm tractor pull; July 23 features ATV, car and truck mud bogs; and July 24 features the Rawhide professional rodeo.

A full-size car demolition derby will take place on July 25.

Midway and carnival events from the 2014 Jefferson County Fair will be repeated this year, with carnival rides and games by Barlebaugh Amusements opening at 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

T&D Chainsaw Carvers and an auction will take place on July 25.

After Sunday, exhibits will open every day at the fair no later than 2:00 p.m., and the outdoor community stage will feature “Dazzle U Productions.”

The Jefferson County 911 Command Post will be on site all week, along with livestock and equipment displays, food concessions, commercial exhibitors, exotic animal shows, and more.

Admission to the fair will be $8.00 this year, which includes parking, carnival, and admission to all fair activities.

The gates will open at 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
