Jefferson County Man Charged with False Report of Institutional Sexual Assault

PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, a Punxsutawney man who previously reported institutional sexual assault at Jefferson County Jail, in Pine Creek Township, has been charged with false reports to law enforcement authorities.

Police say a previously reported incident around 9:15 p.m. on January 28, of Institutional Sexual Assault has been declared unfounded.

This incident occurred as 30-year-old Thomas E. Flick, of Punxsutawney, falsely accused a Jefferson County Jail Corrections Officer of providing him with methamphetamine in exchange for oral sex while Flick was incarcerated at the jail.

Flick is charged with violating PA CC Section 4904 – Unsworn Falsifications to Authorities and Section 4906 – False Reports to Law Enforcement Authorities in District Court 54-3-03.
