Jefferson County Man Escapes Injury in Crash

PAINT TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A Jefferson County man escaped injury in a two-vehicle collision Friday in Paint Township, Clarion County.

Clarion-based State Police said the accident happened around 6:53 a.m. at the intersection of Paint Boulevard and U.S. Route 322.

According to police, a 2003 GMC Sierra operated by 28-year-old Terry Hornberger, of Hawthorn, collided with a 2009 Hyundai Elantra operated by 23-year-old Michael Rizzo, of Sigel.

Hornberger and Rizzo escaped injury in the accident.

Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and had to be towed from the scene.

Hornberger was cited for a lane violation.
