Jefferson County Man Faces Charges Following DUI Crash

TROUTVILLE BOROUGH, Clearfield Co., Pa. (EYT) – DuBois-based State Police say charges are pending for a Jefferson County man regarding an apparent DUI crash.

State police were contacted around 2:14 a.m. on March 20 for a report of a truck stuck in a field and people standing around it at a location on Main Street in Troutville Borough, Clearfield County.

Police say upon their arrival, no one was found around the vehicle, which was listed as a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado.

Following additional investigation, the driver of the vehicle contacted police and met with troopers at a residence.

According to police, the driver, identified as a 22-year-old Falls Creek man, was found to be intoxicated and a chemical breath test found his BAC at .142%.

Charges are pending.

The name of the driver was not released.
