Jefferson County Man Faces Rape Charges

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – A 51-year-old Jefferson County man faces rape charges stemming from an alleged incident that occurred in December at a residence in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

Dubois-based state police say the incident allegedly occurred sometime between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. on December 17 when Donald Paul Tressler, 51, of Reynoldsville, allegedly raped a 46-year-old woman.

Police say Tressler faces count each of rape, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, sexual assault and two counts of indecent assault.

Tressler is being held at the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $75,000 bail.

A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for 11:30 a.m. January 17.
