Jefferson County Pair Arrested on Drug Charges

REYNOLDSVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Two Jefferson County residents are behind bars after investigators found heroin in a Jefferson County apartment.

On June 26, Sgt. Murray of the Reynoldsville Borough police department assisted State Parole with a warrant being served on Jackie Yohe III at 1113 Grant Street in Reynoldsville Borough.

Yohe was found inside the apartment which was being leased by Tonya Pearce-Werner. A search of the premises was conducted and heroin with a street value of $2,100.00 was seized. Yohe was taken into custody by state parole agents and transported to a state correctional institution.

On July 6, Sgt. Murray filed charges against Yohe for possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and recklessly endangering another person.

Additionally, Pearce-Werner was charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of children.

Pearce-Werner was taken into custody by Sgt. Murray and Officer Winfield and transported to the Jefferson County Jail.

Unable to post $40,000.00 cash bail, Pearce-Werner remains lodged in the Jefferson County Jail.
