Biscuit & Sausage Bake
Ingredients
2 cups biscuit baking mix
1 cup fresh blueberries
1/2 cup milk
6 fully cooked breakfast sausage links
1 egg
Warm pure maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla
Directions
~Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
~Coat an 8-inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.
~Combine first four ingredients. Mix well. Batter will be stiff. Fold in blueberries. Spread batter in bottom of pan.
~Remove casings from sausage, slice and sprinkle on top of batter. Bake 25 to 30 minutes. Test center as you would a cake. Top will be lightly browned. Cut into squares.
~Serve with warm pure maple syrup.
