Dream Cupcakes – easy-to-make & delicious!
Dream Cupcakes
Ingredients
1 regular size pkg. chocolate cake mix
2 – 3 oz/ pkgs/ cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup flaked coconut
Directions
~Preheat oven at 350°.
~Prepare cake mix according to package directions for cupcakes. Fill paper-lined muffin cups half full.
~In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and salt until smooth. Stir in chocolate chips and coconut.
~Drop about 2 teaspoonfuls of cream cheese mixture into the center of each cupcake. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks. Store in the refrigerator.
~Makes about 2-1/2 dozen.
