Lori’s Chocolate Cheesecake
Ingredients
18 Oreo Cookies, crushed
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
3 – 8 oz. pkgs. Philadelphia Cream Cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. Baker’s Semi-Sweet Chocolate, melted, cooled
3 eggs
1 cup thawed Cool Whip Dips Strawberry Crème
1-1/2 cups mixed seasonal fresh fruit (chopped strawberries, sliced kiwi)
Directions
~Preheat oven to 325°F.
~Mix cookie crumbs and butter. Press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan. Bake 10 min.
~Beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with mixer until well blended. Add chocolate; mix well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each just until blended.
~Pour over crust. Bake 45 to 55 min. or until center is almost set.
~knife around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim.
~Refrigerate 4 hours.
~Top with Cool Whip Dips (and fruit, if desired).
