Jefferson County Recipe of the Day: Tangy Vegetable Dip.
Great for any party!
Ingredients
1 cup 1% cottage cheese
1 – 8 oz. package of reduced-fat cream cheese, cubed
1/3 cup fat-free mayonnaise
1/3 cup reduced-fat sour cream
1/3 cup reduced-fat plain yogurt
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 teaspoons cider vinegar
2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon dill weed
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
4 green onions, finely chopped
Assorted vegetables
Directions
-In a blender, combine the first 11 ingredients; cover and process until smooth.
-Transfer to a bowl; stir in the onions.
-Serve with vegetables.
-Makes 3 cups.
