Jefferson County Recipe of the Day: Turkey Crescents

Turkey Crescents – a great dish to make with your leftover turkey!

Turkey Crescents


1/2 cup finely chopped celery
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 tsp butter
2 cups finely chopped cooked turkey
1 reg size can condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
3- 8 oz pkgs refrigerated crescent rolls
Dill weed


~Preheat oven at 350°.

~In a nonstick skillet, saute celery and onion in butter until tender. Add turkey and soup and mix well. Remove from the heat.

~Separate crescent dough into 24 triangles. Place 1 tbsp turkey mixture on the wide end of each triangle, then roll up from wide end. Place pointed side down 2″ apart on greased baking sheets. Curve ends to form crescent shape. Sprinkle with dill.

~Bake for 8-9 minutes. Serve immediately.

~Makes 2 dozen.
