Jesse F. Richards, 69 of Mayport passed away August 10, 2017 at Allegheny General in Pittsburgh.
Jesse was born February 10, 1948 in Punxsutawney, a son of the late Jesse C. and Betty Jean Richards.
Jesse loved the outdoors and all that it included such as hunting, fishing and camping.
He loved animals and dogs and cats. Jesse adored the time he spent with his grandchildren when they came to visit making the most of their time together.
He was a very upstanding person and was looked up to and respected by his piers.
Jesse is survived by his beloved wife Linda Richards of Mayport, three sons; Jesse J. Richards (Michelle) of Mayport, Jason Ricahrds of Tampa, FL., Wayne Richards (June) of Timblin, two sisters; Carol Zufall (Frank) of Highland, IN., Kathy Ortz of Reynoldsville, six beloved grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Friends will be received from Noon until 2 pm Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney where a funeral service will follow at 2 pm with Pastor David Stonbreaker officiating.
Interment at Lakelawn Memorial Park is private.
