Joan E. Myers

Joan E. Myers, 80, of Butler, passed away on Sunday at Sunnyview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where she lived for the last four years.

She was born January 16, 1939, in Punxsutawney, and was the daughter of the late Jonas Deahl and the late Helen Deahl (Timblin).

Joan was a housewife and a member of the Nixon Methodist Church. Joan also enjoyed square dancing.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald R. Myers, of Butler; two sons, Rodney Myers, of Butler, and Bryan Myers and his wife, Linda, of Cana Virginia; one daughter, Deanna Moser and her husband, Jerry, of Butler; three brothers, William Deahl and his wife, Carol, of St. Marys, Robert Deahl and his wife, Joanne, of Rossiter, and Gary Deahl and his wife, Joyce, of Rossiter; one sister, Diane Deahl-Cauvel and her husband, Michael, of Brookville; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Dale A. Myers.

Family and friends will be received at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, Inc., 124 East North Street Butler, PA on Thursday, March 28, 2019, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. until the time of service at 8:00 p.m. with Reverend William Gilligan officiating.

A private burial will take place in the Butler County Memorial Park.
