JoAnne Russell Guiher, 71, of Lewistown, died Thursday, May 4, 2017 in West Shore Hospital, Hampden Township.
She was a retired Cook for The Pennsylvania State University – Erie Campus; a Nine Year Breast Cancer Survivor and enjoyed going to Pink Zone Basketball Games at Penn State.
Joanne enjoyed NASCAR, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State Football. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Allen B. Guiher; two sons, Allen B. Guiher, Jr., & wife Carla and Robert J. Guiher & wife Stacey; two daughters, Allison Guiher and Rachel J. Guiher; her mother, Elaine Russell; and sister Jeannie Gray & husband Dennis; her grandchildren, Rebecca, Margaret, Morgan, Nathan, Madison, Jenna, Bruce and Hazel.
Joanne was preceded in death by two brothers, John & Jerry Russell and her father John Russell. Joanne was part of a very large family, whom she loved dearly.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday at Bernard P. Snyder Funeral Home Inc. located at 206 E. Main Street Reynoldsville, Pennsylvania 15851 with the Rev. Benjamin Austin officiating.
