John D. Moberg age 86 of Brockway died on Wednesday, May 6, 2015 at the Jefferson Manor in Brookville.
Born in Crenshaw on April 14, 1929 he was the son of the late David L. and Katherine Gustafson Moberg.
He was married to Elizabeth Bruno and she preceded him in death.
Retired, He was the self-employed owner of Moberg’s TV and Repair Shop.
John was a U.S. Army Korean War Veteran were he served as a demolitions and explosive expert.
He served proudly for many years as the president of the Swedish American Club.
He was protestant by faith.
John is survived by two sons: Mark Moberg of Brockway; Perry (Shirley King) Moberg also of Brockway; one sister: Marie Truesdale of Brockport.
In addition to his parents and his wife he is also preceded in death by a brother Donald Moberg and two sisters Betty Moberg and Mildred Koval.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway.
A funeral service will be held at 8:00 PM also at the funeral home with Pastor David Nagele officiating.
Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery in Brockway.
Memorial donations may be made to American Legion Post #95 in Brockway or Hahne Cancer Center.
