John M. Anderlonis, age 74 of DuBois, PA, died Monday, September 6, 2021 at Christ the King Manor.
Born on September 4, 1947 in DuBois, PA, he was the son of the late John R. “Babe” and Rose M. (Matula) Anderlonis.
He graduated from Alliance College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology.
John had worked in the lab at DuBois Regional Medical Center for 27 years.
He was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, where he was an altar server in his youth, the Pulaski Club and the Olympic Athletic Club.
He enjoyed archery and rifle hunting, playing baseball and loved to fish.
John is survived by one sister (Mary Ann Lepeonka and her husband Paul of North Patomic, MD), 2 nephews (Jason Lepeonka and his wife Lori and Michael Lepeonka and his wife Allison), 1 great niece (Madison Lepeonka) and 3 great nephews (Ryan, Henry and Logan Lepeonka).
He was preceded in death by one brother Gerald Anderlonis.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 6-8 PM at the Baronick Funeral Home & Crematorium, Inc.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 1 PM from the funeral home with Msgr. Richard Siefer officiating.
Burial will take place in St. Michael Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
