Joseph S. “Muz” Albino

Joseph S. “Muz” Albino, 85, formerly of Walston, PA, died Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Christ the King Manor in DuBois, PA.

He was born October 18, 1930 in DuBois, PA, the son of the late Joseph and Lena (Assalone) Albino.

He was married to the former Ursula Mondi who preceded him in death on May 15, 2012.

He was a laborer/truck driver for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

He is survived by one daughter, Sandy Scialabba and her husband, Bernie of York, PA and by one sister, Rose Maxwell of DuBois, PA.

He is also survived by five grandchildren, Nicole Lovich and her husband, Justin; Michele Scialabba; Lynae Shepp and her husband, Nate; Karrie Scialabba and Valerie Scialabba; and by one great-grandson, Landon Shepp.

He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved bowling.

Friends will be received at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 2-4 and 7-9.

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at SS. Cosmas and Damian Roman Catholic Church in Punxsutawney, PA on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Msgr. Joseph J. Riccardo officiating.

Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Punxsutawney, PA.

The family requests that donations in memory of Mr. Albino be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
