Josephine A. Salvetto , age 88, of Brockway died Thursday July 23, 2015 at Christ the King Manor in DuBois, Pa.
She was born June 12, 1927 in Clearfield, Pa. daughter of the late Samuel “Sam” and Angela Magestro Accordino. She married Lawrence “Larry” Salvetto who preceded her in death on October 26, 2003. She was a retired legal secretary also retired medical secretary at Geisinger Medical Center, Philipsburg, Pa. She was a member of St.Tobias Church and Rosary Society, Red Hats Society of Brockway, and played in the O-I Ladies Golf League and Ladies League at Scottish Heights.
Surviving are a sister Biaggina A. (Werner) Haas of Yardley, Pa and a brother Philip J. (Dessie) Accordino of Clearfield, Pa, also several nieces and nephews including Joanne and Bruno Genevro of Brockway. Preceded in death by two brothers Carmen and Nicholas Accordino.
Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday at !0:00 A.M. at St. Tobias Church, Brockway, Pa with Msgr. Charles Kaza officiating. Burial will be in St. Tobias Cemetery. Friends will be received Sunday 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. At Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home. Vigil Service will be Sunday in the funeral home at 7:45 P.M.
