Josephine “Jo” E. Domitrovich, 94, of West Long Avenue, DuBois, PA, died on Friday, May 18, 2018, at Christ the King Manor.
Born on June 20, 1923, in DuBois, PA, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Josephine (Ogershok) Strosky.
On January 17, 1942, at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church she married Michael J. Domitrovich. He preceded her in death.
Jo was the owner/operator of Jo’s Beauty Shop in DuBois and Punxsutawney for 40 years.
She was a member of the St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church. She was the past president for the Business & Professional Women’s Club in DuBois. She enjoyed international travel.
Jo is survived by two sons, James M. Domitrovich and his wife Susan of The Villages, FL, and Michael Domitrovich and his wife Christine of Quincy, MA; four grandchildren, James M. Domitrovich, Jr., Michael Smith, Katie and Amanda Domitrovich and great-grandchild, Nick Buffington, Alexis Domitrovich and Josephine Smith.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Beth Domitrovich, and her brother, Joseph Strosky.
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
Burial will be in St. Catherine Cemetery.
