Josephine Patricia Duffell, known as “Pat”, “Grammy” or “Gramma” to those that loved her, went to heaven on January 12, 2015 in Punxsutawney.
She was born in Chicago on July 30, 1920, a daughter of the late Louis and Jeannie Capra.
She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald Duffell. They were married in Chicago in 1946.
They moved to the St. Petersburg, FL. area in 1970 until Pat moved to Punxsutawney in 2013 to be with her family.
In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by her siblings; Rose, Jeannette, Louise, Louis, Phil, Chris, Anthony and daughter Phyllis.
he will be deeply missed by surviving family members; sister; Marie, son; Gerry and wife Karen, their four daughters; Sandy and husband Michael Troast, Jackie and husband Ed Gaston all of Punxsutawney, Jessica of Ashville, NC. and Monica of Pittsburgh, son; Joseph and wife Melissa of Chesterfield, MO. daughter; Iris Sinclair and her son; James Clemmons and her daughter; Michele and husband Don Killiam all of St. Petersburg, FL. Also surviving are great grandchildren; Rosalie and Annabel Troast, Kayli, Cole and Kaytlin Duffell, Sean and Lindsay Killiam and many nieces and nephews.
All arrangements were private for family and under the direction of the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
