Joyce Ann Coleman, 58, of Punxsutawney, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
She was born in Punxsutawney on March 22, 1963, a daughter of the late David Ralph Coleman and Maxine Hazel (Fetterman) Coleman.
Joyce was a graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School Class of 1981.
First and foremost, she loved to spend time with her family. She was the proud mother of two sons, Robert David Gourley of Pittsburgh and Joseph Gourley and wife Raylene of Punxsutawney; and loving grandmother of Cameron.
She adored her sister Norma Glatt and loved to spend the day doing anything that they decided to do for the time being. She will be dearly missed by her family.
Joyce was quiet by her nature. She will be remembered as an “Angel on Earth”, she was good hearted, kind, and accepting of everyone. She loved gardening, planting and tending to her flowers, and enjoyed camping.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, David Coleman.
In accordance to her wishes, there will be no visitation. Arrangements entrusted to Shumaker Funeral Home, Inc., Punxsutawney.
