Judith Ann Guthrie, 75, of Summerville, died Sunday, January 14, 2018, at McKinley Health Center in Brookville.
Born on March 18, 1942, in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late William D. and Virginia Mae (Taylor) Haines. She was married on June 19, 1971, to Robert L. Guthrie.
She was a homemaker and a seamstress, she also worked for various places, including Reinsels Store in Frogtown. She attended Leasure Run United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Robert L. Guthrie of Summerville, five children, John Rominski III and his wife Mary Jo of Strattanville, Billie Jo Morrell and her husband Jim of Meadville, Janine Rominiski of Clarion, James Rominiski and his wife Carol of New Bethlehem, and Robert N. Guthrie and his wife Rebecca of Limestone, eleven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, two sisters, Carolyn J. Dushack and her husband Jerry of Irwin, and Marilyn J. Gulnac and her husband James of Erie, a brother Robert W. Haines and his wife Cathy of New Bethlehem, and a sister in law, Carol Haines of Coulter. She also is survived by her dog, “Pookie”.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Guthrie, a brother, George Haines, and a sister, Peggy L. Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Leasure Run United Methodist Church, with Pastor Cindy Duffee officiating.
Interment will be held in the Salem Cemetery, Frogtown, Limestone Township.
