Judy Runyan

Judy Runyan, 77, of Fisher, formerly of Strattanville and Phillipston, passed away on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at her home.

She was born November 18, 1938, in Butler, PA; daughter of the late Frank and Blanch Myers Runyan.

Judy was preceded in death by her long-time companion, John Crawford.

She worked at the former L & R Decorating in Clarion and retired from Sherwin Williams in Clarion.

Judy attended the Strattanville United Methodist Church.

She was an election worker for Brady Township.

Judy enjoyed reading, cross stitch, and was an avid Steelers fan.

She also enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters.

Judy is survived by one son David Runyan and Autumn of Fisher, two granddaughters, Hope Byers and Monica Clapper, one sister, Marie Egan of Seneca, and her dog Fefe.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, Mildred, Phyllis, Hazel, and Mary, and brother, Donald.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. on Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Robert V. Burns Funeral Home in Clarion with a Memorial Service at 7 p.m. in the Funeral Home with the Rev. Nancy Zahn, pastor of the Strattanville United Methodist Church.

Interment will be held in the Phillipston Cemetery.

In lieu donations in Judy’s name can be made to the Cancer Center at the Clarion Hospital, 150 Doctor’s Lane, Clarion, PA 16214.
