June Carol Fetterman, 81, of Rossiter, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021, at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital.
She was born April 30, 1940, to Jay and Edna (Fetterman) Fisher in Wilgus, Indiana County, PA.
June married Roy “Buck” Fetterman March 12, 1964. They enjoyed over 56 years of marriage together. June was the Banks Township tax collector for 47 years. She served as the Banks Township secretary for years and worked at Connors Grocery store and service station for over 20 years.
She enjoyed camping, country music, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons and a daughter, Larry “Chip” Fetterman and wife Pam, of Rossiter; Rodney “Rock” Fetterman and wife Teri, of Glen Campbell; and Carol “Candy” Wetzel and husband Ken Jr., of Rossiter; three grandchildren, Kalyn Everett and husband Seth, Becca Strong and Quenton Strong; and close friends of the family, Chloe, Adam, and Ethan Wright.
She is also survived by three sisters, Diana Miller, of Anita; Anna Mae Rishell and husband Ted, of Rossiter; and Marian Urish and husband John, of Rossiter; three brothers, Kenneth Fisher, of Rossiter, Wayne Fisher, of Big Run, and Willis Fisher and wife Wanda, of Delancy, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Buck Fetterman, on November 30, 2020, and a sister, Dorothy Smith.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at the McCabe Funeral Home Inc., 114 Maple Ave., Punxsutawney, PA, 15767.
Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Urey.
