Junior Achievement 5K Color Run Proves to be a Colorful Day

WinnersNEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Clarion County Junior Achievement hosted a 5k Color Run on Saturday, May 16 in New Bethlehem.

The run utilized the Redbank Valley Trails Association’s rails to trails starting in New Bethlehem.

Over 120 runners and walkers came out to enjoy the day while getting covered with color powder.

Race timing was conducted by Miles of Smiles and medals were awarded to the top three men and women finishers.

The top three male finishers were Ben Deeler in first place, Anthony Rosario Adams in second, and Nathan Dongilli in third place.

For the women, Tristen Best came in first place, followed by Kristi Schumacher in second place and Karen Carmichael in third place.

Color Up

Event proceeds benefit Junior Achievement of Clarion County, which works with local schools to provide children Kindergarten through 12th grade the basics of financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and work readiness.

The event was sponsored by Community Action Inc., Primary Health Network and the Clarion Chamber of Commerce.
