Junipher E. Jenary, 90 of Punxsutawney, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2017, at Penn Highlands DuBois.
Junipher was born on October 20, 1926, in Homer City, a daughter of the late Alonzo and Lavina Flack Henry.
She was the Assistant Manager at the former GC Murphy’s and Ames in Punxsutawney.
She loved to knit and sew making beautiful crafts for her friends and family.
Junipher was the beloved wife of Steve L. Jenary who preceded her in death December 7, 1982. They were married January 29, 1949.
A loving mother of three children; Arthur Jenary (Betty) of Punxsutawney, James Jenary (Debbie) of Rossiter and Laura Jenary of Punxsutawney. Loving grandmother to Steven Jenary, Sean Jenary (Barb), Shanna Adams (James) and seven beautiful great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband Steve, she was preceded in death by a brother; Jim Henry and a sister; Laura Caliguire.
Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Sunday at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
A funeral service will be held at 11 am Monday, September 25, 2017, at the funeral home with Joseph Buterbaugh officiating.
Private interment will be at Circle Hill Cemetery.
