Police say this crash occurred as 43-year-old Daniel Glover Jr. of Punxsutawney was traveling south on Route 119 in a 2008 Ford Mustang.

48-year-old Neal Kurtz, of Reynoldsville, was attempting to complete a left turn from Route 119 onto Pike Road in a horse and buggy.

According to police, Glover was approaching from the rear and attempted to go around the buggy in the northbound lane, not knowing that Kurtz was attempting to make a left-hand turn onto Pike Road.

The vehicle impacted the horse and buggy causing it to spin 180 degrees clockwise and come to final rest off the east shoulder of the roadway, facing north.

Glover’s vehicle came to final rest immediately after impact facing to the south.

Glover and Kurtz were both not injured. One of Kurtz five passengers, an 11-year-old girl, was injured in the crash and was transported to Penn Highlands DuBois for treatment.

No other passengers were injured.
