KATHLEEN “Kathy” Y. SCHNELL, 49, of Parker, Pa. passed away late Monday evening (03-30-15) at her residence following an extended illness.
Born in Brookville, Pa. on June 26, 1965, she was the daughter of Elmer and Charlotte Fox Boyer of Siegel, Pa.
She was married to Eric P. Schnell on July 2, 1988.
A graduate of Brookville High School, she was employed at Adobe Coal for a period of time. She then began employment in the office of Sonneborne at Petrolia where she worked over twenty years.
Kathy was a dedicated member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter 60 of Parker, where she had served twice as Worthy Matron and held the position of Martha.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Parker, and had served with the Perry Twp. Ambulance Service for a period of time.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by two daughters, Amanda Schnell of Parker and Danielle Schnell of Pittsburgh, and one granddaughter, Kourtney Rankin. She is also survived by one sister and husband, Karen and Brian Fox of Leola, Pa.
Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday at H. Jack Buzard Funeral Home, 201 So. Wayne Ave., Parker. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday from the First Presbyterian Church of Parker with Pastors Chuck Cline and Richard Anschutz officiating. Interment in Parker Presbyterian Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to The Cancer Center, Clarion Hospital, Hospital Dr., Clarion, Pa. 16214.
