Kathryn Renne, 96, of Punxsutawney, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 3, 2016, at Christ the King Manor.
Kathryn (Kae) was born February 21, 1920, in Crawfordtown. She was the daughter of the late Jessie (Cappella) and Anthony Ross. Preceding her in death were her brother Russell Ross, her sisters Frances Bofinger, Immaculate (Mackie) Ross, and Cora Cardamone. She is survived by sister Lena Molinaro, and sister-in-laws Audrey Ross, and Frances Dickey.
Kathryn was happily married for 61 years to Joseph Renne who passed away on May 22, 2007.
Kathryn was the loving mother of two children: Joseph A. Renne and wife Kathy of Punxsutawney, and Mary Ann Amundson and her late husband Frank of Punxsutawney. She had two grandchildren, Michael Renne and Lisa Ruffner and two great grandchildren, Evie Renne and Addison Ruffner.
Kathryn had many devoted nieces and nephews who loved and respected her dearly.
Friends will be received Monday, June 6th from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Deeley Funeral Home, 33 Hillcrest Drive, Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, June 7th, at Saints Cosmas and Damian Church with Monsignor Joseph Riccardo officiating.
Interment will be at the Calvary Cemetery, Punxsutawney.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to S.S.C. D. Church or the Punxsutawney Salvation Army.
