Kay Ruth Craft


Kay Ruth Craft, 76, of Treasure Lake, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018, after a lengthy illness.

She was born May 5, 1941, in Sykesville; daughter of the late James & Ruth (Jehu) Buhite. She was married to Bill “Bucky” Craft. He survives in Treasure Lake.

Kay is also survived by two children Bernard (Christina) Craft, Virginia and Ellen (Robert) Spicher, DuBois, a sister Mona (Leo) Cramer, Sykesville, two brothers George (Patti) Buhite, Juneau, AK, Terry (Evelyn) Buhite, Statham, GA, nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a special friend/caregiver she thought of as a daughter, Kim (Joe) Andres.

Kay was a graduate of Sykesville High. She was a homemaker for most of her life. She attended Treasure Lake Church.

In addition to her parents; she was also preceded in death by an infant son Michael Joseph Campagnola and an infant sister Sally Jean Buhite.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 21, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Monday, January 22 from 10:00 a.m. –to 11:00 a.m. at the Leo Nedza Funeral Home in DuBois. Funeral Services will follow on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Dick Whitaker officiating. Burial will take place in Sykesville Cemetery.
