Kenneth Lloyd Rossey

20160603_141522Kenneth Lloyd Rossey, 79, of Clarion, died Thursday afternoon, June 2, 2016, as a result of a farm tractor accident.

Born on May 23, 1937 in Turkey City, he was a son of the late Lee Harrison and Eva Mae (Mong) Rossey. He was married on July 13, 1975 to Theresa B. (Pelky).

Ken worked as a truck driver until he retired. He also enjoyed farming, hunting and fishing. He attended the Kingdom Hall Church in Rimersburg. He enjoyed racing and was an avid race car driver. He raced for almost 40 years at Hummingbird, Lernerville, Tri City and Sportsmens race tracks. He belonged to the Pittsburgh Circle Track Club.

Ken is survived by his wife of 40 years, Theresa B. Rossey of Clarion, two children, Mark Rossey of Rimersburg and Lori Hinderliter of Lickingville, a step son, Don Winters of Manassas, Virginia, five grandchildren, Cassandra, Cory, Kenneth, Jeremiah, and Parker, three great grandchildren, Connor, Isabella, and Paige, and a sister, Thelma Jean Hardle of Rimersburg.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Matthew Rossey and seven brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2016, at 2:00 pm at the Alcorn Funeral Home in Hawthorn with Rick Marquette officiating.
