Kenny Haag

Kenny Haag, 51 of Punxsutawney, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2015 in McCalmont Township.

He was born June 21, 1964 in Punxsutawney, a son of Robert and Thelma (Bresnock) Haag of Punxsutawney who survive.

Kenny is survived by his beloved wife Lisa J. (Martz) Haag of Punxsutawney. They were married August 2, 1986.

He was a member of Lindsey Fire Company and a former machinist at Quality Gear for 19 years. He was an avid hunter and especially enjoyed archery. He loved the outdoors and most of all weekends on the porch.

In addition to his parents and wife Lisa, he is survived by two son’s, Jesse Haag and wife Kaeley and Cory Haag all of Punxsutawney and one granddaughter, Lillian Haag, who was the pride and joy of his life. Three brother’s, Robert A. Haag, Jr. and wife Monica, William J. Haag and wife Tam, Edward S. Haag and wife Sharon and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Alice Haag, Joseph and Adda Bresnock and a niece, Ashlee Renee Haag.

Friends will be received from 2­ – 8 pm Tuesday, September 22, at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Wednesday, September 23, at the Oliveburg Presbyterian Church with Pastor Glenn McQuown officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contribution’s in Kenny’s name to the local Punxsutawney Fire Company of your choice.
