Kevin J. Croney

Kevin J. Croney, 43, of Allegheny Township, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015 in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh.

Born June 29, 1971 in Baltimore, MD son of the late Paul G. “Gary” Croney and Joan E. (Morabito) Croney-Depew of Sarver. Kevin lived with his family in Allegheny Township for the last 7 years. He was a graduate of Kiski Area High School.

Kevin was the owner and operator of True Image Tattoo Studio in Parnassus.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes, drawing, painting, camping, RVing, and spending time with his children. He loved his pets, Oscar and Ruby.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father.

He survived by his wife of 9 years, Cheri L. (Fye) Croney of Allegheny Township; children, Alyssa, Olivia, Griffin, and Wyatt; mother, Joan E. (Al) Croney-Depew of Sarver; brother, Paul D. (Erin) Croney of Sarver; 2 nephews, Brandon & Gavin and niece, Morgan. His brothers at True Image Tattoo; In Laws, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fye of Punxsutawney and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Olinger of Punxsutawney; brother-in-laws, Ben and Sean Fitzgerald-Fye both of Big Run; and many friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 17, 2015 from 2:00-8:00 P.M. in the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 100 Owens View Ave. Apollo, PA. Services will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. in the funeral home with Sean Fitzgerald-Fye officiating.
