Kyle Bradley Smith

Kyle Bradley Smith, 33, of DuBois, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at his home.

He was born in DuBois, PA on April 18, 1988.

He was the son of the late Bradley D. Smith and Michelle (Walters) Smith of DuBois.

Kyle was a member of the DuBois Rifle Team and went on to compete at the collegiate level for West Virginia University.

While at WVU, he was a national champion, achieved the status of All-American and graduated with a degree in economics.

He was a member of Lakeside United Methodist Church of DuBois and a member of PA Wildlife Habitat Unlimited.

Kyle loved being outside and helping the elderly.

He enjoyed talking to people, spending time with those he cared about and had a passion for learning.

At the age of 16, Kyle started a lawn service where he served the DuBois area for over a decade.

He most recently worked at the Walmart Distribution Center.

In addition to his mother, Kyle is survived by his sister, Danielle Smith, North Carolina.

He is also survived by his grandmother, Laura Smith, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his father, Kyle was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Claude and Erma (Strishock) Walters and paternal grandparents, Daniel Smith and Cheryl (Marshall) Hurd.

A memorial service for Kyle will be officiated by Rev. Brett Dinger on Friday, December 10, 2021, at 5 p.m. at Lakeside United Methodist Church in DuBois.
